Project Management Officer (FutureTech programme)

Job Role:

This is an exciting time to join the UK’s largest Private Healthcare Teleradiology company based in Hastings, East Sussex, who are looking for a Project Management Officer (PMO) to come onboard for a two-year fixed term contract with a focus on future tech projects within a business-critical programme of work.

Joining a dynamic project team, this role involves focusing on planning and management, identifying business problems, defining requirements, and proposing solutions to the delivery of the project.

We are looking for an experienced project management officer, wanting to establish themselves within a fast-paced growing company, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge towards the role and with a keen interest in future tech.

Responsibilities:

  • Project planning and reporting, including milestone management; risk and issue management.
  • Maintaining risks, issues, assumptions, action and decision logs.
  • Provide and maintain capacity planning and resource tracking across the Programme identifying bottlenecks and potential resource conflicts.
  • Provide a quality assurance role to support the successful delivery of projects within the Programme.
  • Ensure efficient change control methods and processes are utilised.

Requirements:

  • Planning, to structure work and information for use by management and developers, set priorities and manage the work to those priorities within agreed project timelines.
  • Questioning and information capture, to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information.
  • interpersonal, to help negotiate priorities and resolve conflicts among projects stakeholders.
  • Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Visio and MS project would be an advantage.
  • A solid knowledge of benefits and dependency mapping, risk management and resource planning.
