Event:  RCR HPB imaging update
When: 2 October 2018
Where: Royal College of Physicians, London

This study day is aimed at general radiologists to provide a comprehensive update of all aspects of liver, biliary and pancreatic imaging including how to optimise CT/MRI protocols and indications for functional imaging/EUS.

CAMBRIDGE

Event:  BIR Learning from errors in radiology
When: 5 October 2018
Where: Robinsons College, Cambridge

This one-day event will cover the important aspects of quality improvement and safe clinical practice as well as address a wide range of issues related to radiology errors and incidents. The lectures include litigation, management of serious incidents/error, and human factors. Specific radiological topics on errors related to imaging of the chest, abdomen, musculoskeletal, acute emergencies and paediatrics will also be highlighted.

This meeting aims to revisit the important role of plain film examinations in radiology practice.

Event: BSSR Autumn Meeting

The BSSR is the premier organisation for musculoskeletal radiologists in the UK and a special interest group of the Royal College of Radiologists. The society holds regular educational meetings and provides a national forum for discussion of issues relating to musculoskeletal radiology imaging and practice
