Medica is pleased to welcome three new leaders to its clinical and commercial team, strengthening the company’s focus on patient care, innovation and growth.

Annabel Bentley joins as Interim Chief Medical Officer
Annabel Bentley brings over 30 years in senior clinical and healthcare leadership roles. She has held senior positions at InHealth, AXA Health, and Bupa UK, with deep knowledge in governance, strategy, and patient care improvement. Over the past six months, Annabel has supported Medica’s NightHawk service, contributing important insights to shape the company’s future. She has led governance development for multi-site organisations and driven initiatives to reduce variation in care. Annabel has also played a role in national healthcare policy, including work related to the Paterson Inquiry and the Department of Health’s expert working group.
Dr Amrita Kumar joins as Radiology and AI Clinical Lead
Dr. Amrita Kumar specialises in breast cancer screening and AI integration in radiology, with more than 12 years in the field. Currently based in Dubai as Consultant Breast Interventional Radiologist and AI Implementation Lead at HealthBay Clinics, she has been at the forefront of bringing AI into clinical practice. Dr. Kumar serves as Global Ambassador for the Global Council for Responsible AI and is a trustee at The British Institute of Radiology. She previously led AI initiatives at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust and chaired the BIR AI & Innovation Group. At Medica, she will drive the development of teleradiology and AI services to improve diagnostic accuracy and efficiency.
Hassan Chaudhury joins as Digital Propositions Lead
Hassan Chaudhury brings a unique mix of start-up, policy, and NHS experience, having worked across digital health globally for many years. From co-founding and exiting his own company to advising the UK Government on international trade in digital health, his career reflects a strong focus on sustainable healthcare innovation and improvement.
He recently built the commercial function at Great Ormond Street Hospital and serves as Commercial Director at DATA-CAN, the UK’s health data hub for cancer.
These appointments emphasise Medica’s purpose of improving lives through excellence in diagnostics and research. With these additions to the clinical team, Medica will continue to advance and support radiology and pathology services. Together, they will drive innovation, improve diagnostic accuracy, and uphold the highest standards of patient care, positioning Medica as a leader in healthcare diagnostics.
