Medica recently donated laptops to Bexhill Men’s Shed, helping them enhance their workshops and support their growing community.
At Bexhill Men’s Shed, members come together in a welcoming space to share practical skills, repair and create items, and learn from one another. The laptops will enable members to build digital skills, access online resources, and explore new opportunities for learning.
The Shed also promotes wellbeing by offering a safe, relaxed environment where members can connect, combat loneliness, and support each other. Through shared technical skills and collaboration, Bexhill Men’s Shed plays a vital role in improving the mental health and confidence of retirees and older community members.
This initiative also aligns with Medica’s ESG commitments. During the year, we have continued to drive the recycling and responsible reuse of higher-value items such as laptops, PCs, and cabling, supporting both sustainability and community projects like Bexhill Men’s Shed.
