Sarah Burns appointed as Chief Operating Officer

Medica Group, the UK market leader in the provision of teleradiology services, today announces the appointment of Sarah Burns as Chief Operating Officer.

Sarah brings 25 years of clinical and operational experience within radiology to Medica. She will work closely with Medica’s leadership team to further strengthen the clinical focus of the business and to enable the company to meet its growth targets for 2018 and beyond. Additionally, Sarah will sit on the company’s Operational Board.

Sarah joined Medica in October 2016 as the Director of Clinical Services, having brought a wealth of experience from her previous roles in the NHS and independent sector. Prior to joining Medica, Sarah held a variety of senior operational roles at Alliance Medical, a radiology services company, latterly as Clinical Services Director, and was responsible for complex clinical delivery. Sarah qualified as a radiographer from the Manchester School of Radiography.
