Medica was proud to recently welcome a group of local students from Bexhill Academy and Ark Alexandra Academy for work experience placements over the past month, offering them a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the world of work.
The initiative is part of Medica’s ongoing commitment as an Industry Champion, partnering with schools and colleges across East Sussex to help guide and support the next generation of professionals.
“It’s always inspiring to see young people exploring potential career paths and engaging with the workplace,” said Fiona Carr, Group Head of HR. “We believe that investing in the next generation is key to building a strong and skilled workforce.”
Through hands-on experience and mentoring, the students gained insight into the healthcare sector and developed practical skills that will support them in their future careers.
Medica plans to continue expanding its engagement with local education providers and looks forward to welcoming more students in the future.
