Marc O'Brien

Marc joined Medica in 2018 as chief information officer with responsibility for all Information Technology across the group. Marc’s remit is to work with the other members of the Operational Board to ensure that our IT enables the clinically safe transformation of the organisation.

Marc has held senior IT posts across a variety of sectors from Financial Services to Aviation. Marc’s experience ranges from deep technical leadership through to business transformation.

Over the past 12 years, he has held senior IT roles with a number of the leading independent sector healthcare operators in the UK, from hospitals to solution providers. He has a special interest in ensuring IT capabilities are focused on business transformation and the ergonomics of IT.
