Sarah Burns

Sarah joined Medica in 2016 as Director of Clinical Services, progressed to the role of Chief Operating Officer in June 2017 and then Managing Director in January 2022. Responsible for the day to day oversight of Medica’s operation, Sarah has been instrumental in diversifying Medica’s service delivery model and developing the wider workforce and people strategy. Sarah also works very closely with Dr Robert Lavis, Group Medical Director and the clinical advisory and clinical governance teams to deliver a patient-focused approach to Medica’s services.

A radiographer by background, Sarah has held a number of patient-facing clinical roles, both within the NHS and independent sector. Prior to joining Medica in October 2016, Sarah worked for Alliance Medical Ltd holding the role of Director of Clinical Services.
