We’re using Augmented Intelligence to reduce turnaround times, improve clinical accuracy, reduce cost, and improve data quality.

Fast, accurate reporting 24/7, 365 days of the year

Our emergency reporting service provides dedicated specialist expertise any time of day or night. 50% of exams were reported in under 15 minutes, and 80% in under 30 minutes – we pride ourselves on fast, accurate reporting.

Our team are the best there is and our robust recruitment process ensures the expertise and clinical knowledge of our reporters is top notch. Teamed with a tech platform that provides all relevant patient history, our team deliver second-to-none service.

Trusted partners

We work collaboratively to understand our customers’ needs and our long-standing relationships with partners are testament to our dedication and unparalleled service.

Full-service offering

With the largest number of GMC-registered radiologists and pathologists delivering reporting to the UK, we provide a comprehensive range of specialities including stroke, major trauma, elective MSK and PET CT.

Turning data in to information

With live, actionable data, we can support continuous improvement and enhanced decision making for your service. Think of us as an extension of your team.

Using AI to improve patient outcomes

When we talk about AI, we’re talking about Augmented Intelligence rather than Artificial Intelligence. This means that we’re using machines to enhance the skills of our trusted radiologists, rather than replacing them. We’ve been focused on how we can use innovative technology to improve the service for our patients so we can continue to deliver the very best service.

How does it work?

Working in partnership with Qure.ai, the decision support tool analyses non-contrast studies, flagging up possible abnormalities allowing prioritisation of reporting based on clinical priority. This future-focused approach enables us to ensure patients receive a timely diagnosis – so everyone can benefit from the best possible outcome.

Hear from our CEO Stuart as he discusses the benefits of our augmented intelligence integration with Prashant, CEO of Qure.ai.

“The qER algorithm is immensely useful to reporting clinicians when interpreting acute brain CTs. It not only facilitates the rapid allocation of critically abnormal scans to our reporters but it helps to increase the accuracy of our reports by lowering human error. Medica’s thoroughly tested and robust implementation of the tool is testament to their attention to detail and foresight and I’m hopeful that this is just the first of many integrations with AI.”
