October will see attendance at several industry events spanning the length of the country and we welcome you to visit us at any of the following;

BIRMINGHAM

Event: RCR Imaging Infections ‘head to toe’ 2016
When: Tuesday 4th October 2016
Where: IET Birmingham: Austin Court

This cross-sectional study day covers the practical imaging of infection in each of the main body areas from ‘head to toe’ including head and neck, chest, abdominal, pelvic and musculoskeletal sepsis

YORK

Event: British Society of Neuroradiologists – Annual Meeting
When: 7th – 8th October 2016
Where: Royal York hotel

This is a 2 day event covering topics on; Neuro-oncology, Interventional and Paediatric neuroradiology with 2 further sessions to be confirmed.

GLASGOW

Event: BIR Trauma Imaging Scottish Branch
When: 12th October 2016
Where: Glasgow Royal Concert Hall

This event will provide a comprehensive update on trauma imaging. It is aimed at radiology consultants, SpRs and radiographers but will also be of interest to junior and senior clinicians in the emergency department. It will cover various areas, including the role of body CT for polytrauma victims, neuro trauma and paediatric trauma pitfalls.

BATH

Event: BSR Rheumatology Autumn conference – DXA reporting 
When: 13th – 14th October 2016
Where: Bath Assembly Rooms

The Autumn Conference is BSR’s intimate and highly interactive event which focuses on interesting and complex cases.

The two-day conference brings together consultants and next generation rheumatologists to share and exchange clinical best practice through case-based discussions on four main topics.

CAMBRIDGE

Event:  BIR Neuro Imaging
When: 14th October 2016
Where: Robinson College

The course encompasses the broad spectrum of neuroradiology practice, including comprehensive reviews, updates in new trends and relevant imaging techniques.

This event is for radiology consultants, trainees, radiographers and clinical scientists, but will also be of interest to junior and senior clinicians, who desire a comprehensive and concise review of neuroradiology, with an emphasis on the practical role of neuroimaging in current clinical management of neurological disease.

MEDICA finds these events a great way of touching base with our clients and partner Radiologists, Radiographers and Rheumatologists.
