MEDICA will be attending several events this January in what is proving to be a very busy start of the year in the events calendar.

BIRMINGHAM

Event: RCR Left holding the baby – emergency paediatrics for the general radiologist
When: Wednesday 20th January 2016
Where: The IET, Austin Court, 80 Cambridge Street, BIRMINGHAM, B1 2NP

This meeting will revise and update safe, practical paediatric radiology for those with an interest in paediatric imaging. Focused for DGH radiologists and radiologists in training, lectures will cover a wide range of emergency paediatric issues, including NAI and surgical emergencies. Full programme here

EDINBURGH

Event: MEDICA Group Edinburgh Reporting Centre Open Evening
When: 16:30 – 20:00 on Thursday 28th January 2016.
Where: MEDICA Reporting Centre, Regus Edinburgh, Westpoint, 4 Redheughs Rigg, South Gyle, Edinburgh, EH12 9DQ.

This is a ‘drop in’ event where you are welcome to come along anytime between 4:30pm – 8pm. This will be an opportunity for Radiologists to find out more about MEDICA and what we have to offer Radiologists in the Edinburgh area.

With the opening of our Reporting Centre in the area this will be the perfect chance for you to meet with us, tour the facilities and express interest in the reporting environment we can offer. There will also be an opportunity to view a demonstration of the MEDICA workflow at this event.

LIVERPOOL 

Event: BIR UK MRI Course 2016
When: Wednesday 27th – Thursday 28th January 2016.
Where: Holiday Inn, Liverpool City Centre

This is a highly interactive course which offers OsiriX teaching sessions for delegates. Aims and objectives: Focus on clinical MRI in everyday practice; Facilitate learning through didactic and interactive sessions; Provide expert teachers who can answer delegate questions; Offer refresher training for consultant revalidation and pre-exam registrars.

MEDICA finds these events a great way of touching base with our clients and partner Radiologists. Representatives from MEDICA will be on hand and happy to answer any questions you may have.
