Medica is pleased to welcome Dr Rob Lavis to the new role of Clinical Director.
Rob will be assisting the highly experienced clinical leadership team, informed by National Guidelines and Best Practice, to ensure our clients and their patients receive a report that is fit for purpose and on time, every time.
Dr Stephen Davies, Medical Director at Medica, said: “I am delighted to have Robert join our growing team of clinical experts at Medica. With his background of working in the NHS, combined with his expertise in oncology reporting, Robert brings a highly relevant breadth and depth of experience that will help Medica to continue to drive quality and performance improvements and to expand the service offering to our clients and their patients.”

Rob graduated from the University of Birmingham Medical School in 1996. Training initially as a surgeon in the West Midlands, obtaining MRCS, he then trained as a radiologist in the Peninsula training scheme gaining his FRCR and a PGCE in Medical Education. He has specialist interests in Head and Neck and Urology imaging. He has held Consultant and Clinical Director posts in both Plymouth Hospitals NHST and Gloucestershire Hospitals NHSFT.
