3rd June 2019

MEDICA will be attending UKIO 2019 between 10th and 12th June at the ACC in Liverpool.

UKIO is an excellent opportunity for us to meet with our clients and our clinical reporters as well as to engage with delegates and talk through our services.

We would love to hear from you about your radiology department’s needs, whether you are an active MEDICA customer or not.

Our ever-popular giveaways will be well stocked and we will be running a survey competition where you could win an iPad! Check out our winner from Medical Imaging Conference here.

We will have information on all of our services, both in development and live. There will also be fresh news updates on our NightHawk and Specialist Services including some current service statistics.

We will have representatives from every department in attendance so come along and talk to one of the team on STAND 55 and ask us about what makes us different.

On the Tuesday evening after the event we will also be hosting a complimentary pre-dinner cocktails/drinks event with a unique edge at The Alchemist.

To set up a meeting with any of our department representatives or to express your interest in the drinks event please contact Paul Cornell on Paul.Cornell@medicagroup.co.uk or by phone on 01424 273050 / 07468 861198.

We are on Twitter – follow us at UKIO here and don’t forget to use #UKIO2019 in your tweets to get involved.

MEDICA is actively seeking Consultant Radiologists in a range of subspecialist areas. We are also interested in speaking with Rheumatologists and Reporting Radiographers at UKIO again this year.

We look forward to seeing you all there!

About MEDICA

MEDICA is the market leader in the provision of teleradiology services, providing outsourced interpretation and reporting on MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), CT (computerised tomography) and plain film (x-ray) images. The Company currently offers three primary services to hospital radiology departments: NightHawk, an out-of-hours emergency service, routine cross-sectional reporting on MRI and CT scans, and routine plain film reporting on x-ray images.

MEDICA has developed a bespoke secure IT platform that provides market-leading linkage between a hospital’s Radiology Information System (RIS) and Consultant Radiologists, Reporting Radiographers and Rheumatologists who contract with MEDICA. Direct RIS access ensures that the full wider patient information is available and reviewed with every report.

The Company contracts with the largest pool of consultant radiologists outside of the NHS and has been trusted to provide more than 1.5 million examinations annually across its customer base of more than 100 NHS Trusts and various private hospital groups and diagnostic imaging companies.
