Dr Kishore Gopalakrishnan

Kishore graduated from MAHE University in India in 1988, where he obtained his medical degree, he pursued further specialisation and completed his MD in pathology at the same university.

To expand his expertise, Kishore sought additional training in pathology at the West Midlands Deanery. Since 2010, he has held the position of Consultant Pathologist at UHCW (University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire). Alongside his role as a consultant, Kishore has become Lead of Gastrointestinal, HPB (hepato-pancreatico-biliary), and Renal Pathology at UHCW.

Kishore was an early adopter of digital pathology, he is actively involved in research, particularly exploring the utility of AI in digital pathology.
