RSM BSHNI Head and Neck Imaging Summer Meeting

This conference seeks to promote the practice of head and neck imaging through education, research and networking of national and international colleagues interested in head and neck imaging.
Join one of the largest meetings at the Royal Society of Medicine attended by delegates interested in head and neck imaging from both the UK and around the world.
The inter-disciplinary lectures from both radiologists and clinicians promote a shared understanding of current and emerging diagnostic techniques in the broader context of clinical decision-making, evidenced by the attendance of radiologists, ENT and maxillofacial surgeons, radiographers, nurses and medical students.
During this event, delegates will be able to:

Be cognizant of the role, value and limitations of imaging and cytology in the detection, staging and treatment of H&N cancers, with a special focus on thyroid cancer and H&N carcinoma of unknown primary
Learn and consolidate interpretation of skull-base and temporal-bone imaging in the context of existing and novel treatment options for both posterior-fossa tumours and hearing loss
Understand the role of MRI for diagnosing and treatment planning in head and neck neuropathies, including the trigeminal nerve and brachial plexus
