Seminar Series: Mechanical Thrombectomy in Acute Ischaemic Stroke: Current Trends by Dr Sanjeev Nayak

The next in the Seminar Series will be on Wednesday 14th April, 6-7pm.

We are very pleased to have Medica reporter Dr. Sanjeev Nayak give the next educational seminar on “Mechanical Thrombectomy in Acute Ischaemic Stroke : Current Trends”. Dr. Nayak is a Consultant Interventional Neuroradiologist at the University Hospitals of North Midlands and a forefront pioneer of Mechanical Thrombectomy in acute ischemic stroke in United Kingdom and has helped set up the first UK 24/7 Mechanical Thrombectomy service at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent.

Dr. Nayak and his team have been nominated for 19 national awards (2012-2019) and he won the prestigious “Windrush70 Award for Clinical Excellence” in 2018. Dr Nayak was hailed by the NHS in 2018 as one of “health and care’s top 70 stars” for his efforts to get Mechanical Thrombectomy in stroke widely adopted. Attending this presentation will attract CPD points and learning objectives will be shared nearer to the time.
